Module 6

Putting it All Together

In this final module, we bring everything together. By now you have a solid understanding of how breathing works, how it influences your nervous system, and how to choose techniques with intention. Module 6 is about taking all of that and turning it into a daily practice that fits your life, creates real physiological change over time, and can evolve as you do.  Here, I discuss targeted practice, but also provide brief audios on ways you can incorporate breathing routines in your daily life.  Enjoy!

Below are sample practices for various times in the day to demonstrate how simple it could be to incorporate breathwork throughout the day.  Below is a practice you could do first thing in the morning. It starts with orienting, then directing you through several rounds of triangle breathing.

This is a brief practice you can do anywhere, anytime to reset your energy and balance your nervous system.

This practice helps down regulate your nervous system using 2:1 breathing so you can prepare for sleep.

Here’s an introduction to ‘breathing less.’ This practice involves gently taking in less air than you might feel you need. Over time, it can help your body become more comfortable with smaller breaths, improve your tolerance to carbon dioxide, and reduce feelings of breathlessness. It also supports your ability to stay steady through subtle changes in stress.  You’re always in control during this practice—you can pause or return to normal breathing whenever you choose.
